The Model

Fun events.
Real money.
Real change.

Most nonprofits spend enormous energy fundraising for themselves. We exist to solve that problem for others. We produce the events, build the community, and pass the proceeds to the organizations doing the hardest work in Duval County.

01

We produce a creative event

A chili cook-off, a wandering block party, a gourmet supper, a mini golf tournament — each one designed to be genuinely fun and deeply tied to the Springfield community.

02

The community shows up

Neighbors, local businesses, foodies, artists, and first-timers all come together. Every dollar spent at the event supports both the experience and the cause.

03

Proceeds go directly to a 904 nonprofit

Every event names a beneficiary before we sell a single ticket. Ticket sales, merch, concessions — it all goes directly to them. No overhead mystery.

"We've worked with a lot of community partners, but Project May Day operates differently. They handled everything — we just showed up and received a check. The awareness they generated was worth as much as the funds."
